If i made some new logos, would we still be able to poll them? I just don't like how the logo is black when the rest of the site is white or blue....--BeyondAShadow 10:08, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Well.. we can add the logos to the poll, but here's a problem. At this time, there are 185 total votes, of which 57% voted for the logo #1. (That's why we switched to it.)

If we just continue the current poll with an additional logo, there's no chance to get more than a couple votes -- most people who wanted to vote already did, and it's unlikely they'll come back and revote.

Opening a brand new poll wouldn't be nice because it will waste the effort of everyone who voted so far. Given such an overwhelming lead of logo #1, it's really hard to justify asking people to vote again.

I think if you really like to suggest a new logo, you can upload it and link to it from this talk page. It won't be adopted any time soon, but some day there'll be another discussion of the wiki's skin or style or layout, etc., and we can include it in the voting at that time. I asked JoePlay to make some more possible logos for us, but I misread your comments and asked him to base them on previous Monobook, rather than previous Monaco logo.. /sigh... Well, take a look at the new versions, and we can ask him if he'd be kind enough to make some more versions for us. Mmoroz 21:14, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
